How to open file with .RAY extension?

.RAY is the file extension developed by Stanford University for the needs of their proprietary software. The files with the .RAY extension belong to the "3D&CAD Files " category. The full name of this type of files is Rayshade Picture Image. Files with the .RAY extension can be opened in several ways. The easiest is to install the manufacturer’s application. After downloading and installing the software in our system, files with the .RAY extension should be automatically associated with the new application.
