How to open file with .SNW extension?

.SNW is the file extension developed by Prof. Friedrich Leisch for the needs of their proprietary software. The files with the .SNW extension belong to the "Document Files " category. After downloading and installing the software in our system, files with the .SNW extension should be automatically associated with the new application. It involves the attempt to open the file from the installed application.
